golf properties and consulting for golf
property developers. Mr. Karamitsos founded Sigma Golf Management
and Millennium Golf Ventures in 1999
and is on the Executive Board of the
North Florida PGA.
Mr. Karamitsos is a published author
in numerous periodicals and annuals.

Mr. Vanek joins the National Golf and Resort Properties group after receiving his Master in Business Administration from the University of Florida’s Hough Graduate School of Business. He has been active in real estate management and investment services since 2004, most recently as Consultant to a joint mortgage/builder sales effort in Orlando, FL. His duties included regional leadership responsibility for all operations and loan activity, helping to close over $100 million in loan product. Mr. Vanek received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Duke University in 2004.
Steven M. Ekovich

Mr. Steven Ekovich has been in the real estate business for over 20 years, both brokering commercial real estate and serving as Regional Manager for several Marcus & Millichap offices. He has closed or overseen over $3 billion of real estate transactions. He has opened four offices for Marcus & Millichap, was voted “Regional Manager of the Year”, and in addition, was the National Director of the National Self Storage Group at Marcus & Millichap. His duties included hiring, deployment, training and coaching of commercial real estate agents in Tampa, Atlanta, Palo Alto, Jacksonville and Orlando.
Mr. Ekovich has been a published author in numerous real estate trade publications as well as being a featured speaker for over 15 years at real estate industry events.

Matthew Putnam

Mr. Putnam has served as the financial analyst and marketing coordinator for the National Golf and Resort Properties Group for two years. He has held an active real estate license since 2006 and got his start in the residential real estate business while managing condo-hotel properties along Florida’s west cost. Mr. Putnam graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. He has held various positions in the golf and hospitality industry since 2000, including time at Innisbrook Golf Resort, Gainesville Country Club, Hilton, Starwood and Provident Management.
Mr. Putnam also holds an active CAM license and was the Assistant General Manager of Sunset Vistas in Treasure Island, Florida before joining Marcus and Millichap. He served as an active real estate agent during that time as well. His experience in the golf and hospitality operations arena has served him well in his time with the group.
